Who Do You Listen To?

Business · November 15, 2012

Information is so accessible nowadays; there’s no excuse for “not knowing something.” A simple Google search on your Smartphone will end any debate and answer any question you could ask.

Unfortunately, not all information is created equal.

Some is accurate, but most is misleading.

Because of this, I wanted to quickly share a few names with you. This is a continuation of 5 people That Will Make You Smarter.

People I Trust (and Listen To)

Peter Schiff

Please watch THIS VIDEO (only takes 5 minutes). Around 3:43, the other commentators are literally laughing at Peter Schiff’s prediction of the housing bubble. Who is laughing now, biyatch?

Bill Gross

Everyone knows about Warren Buffett and his ability to pick stocks, but very few people have heard of Bill Gross. Consider Bill Gross the Warren Buffett of bonds. He, personally, manages 170 Billion in Pimco’s Total Return Fund. He also writes an investment outlook at the beginning of every month.

Ron Paul

I’m assuming that no one has heard of Peter Schiff or Bill Gross, but I’m guessing most people know about Ron Paul (but for the wrong reasons). Most people probably think he’s some radical Republican that has crazy ideas and has no chance at ever becoming President.

While Ron Paul does have some crazy ideas, most of them are logical. Rather than being a career politician (good at nothing), Congressman Paul is a Physician that (arguably) understands Economics better than Ben Bernanke.

Watch THIS VIDEO of Ron Paul predicting the financial crisis in 2001.

Readers: Who do you trust? Who do you listen to?

Important Disclosure

I'm a big believer in transparency. As such, you should know that I make money from this blog. Weird, I know. The way I make money is simple: I occasionally link to products and companies that I believe provide tremendous value. If you choose to sign up, I may receive a small payout. This payout comes at no additional cost to you and, trust me, it's small. I'm in no position to quit my day job. Please do not spend any money on these products unless you feel you need them or that they will help you achieve your goals.
