This isn’t the first time I’ve been tardy. It probably doesn’t make a lot of sense to host a Sunday Funday on Monday, does it? I couldn’t devote much time to the blog as it was actually quite a memorable weekend for Miss Blinkin and me.
On Friday, I asked her to marry me.
If that sounds too direct and/or brief, it’s because I’ll be following up with many more details (don’t you worry!).
The weekend consisted of celebrations and phone calls. Lots of long-conversations and reconnecting.

The Sports
Lebron seems to want a championship pretty badly. Although I don’t watch NASCAR, I heard that Dale Earnhardt Jr. finally won a race. “Tiger Implosion” was a trending topic on Twitter.
The Economy
I didn’t pay much attention to the economy as I was too busy proposing.
The Blogosphere
This is where I’ll typically highlight articles I’ve found interesting in the Personal Finance Community; but this week I’ll once again go a different direction.
