Maybe you’ve noticed that I haven’t been posting nearly as often as I was. It would be easy to blame this on life events such as my decision to buy a house but, let’s be honest, how time-consuming is that? There are a number of bloggers that work longer days, post more frequently and have busier schedules (so it seems). Instead of using my least favorite excuse (I’m busy!), I’m going to come up with a plan to organize my life. I’m hoping that putting my plan on paper (pixels) will hold me accountable.
Priorities (broken down by weekly hours)
- Day Job – 50 hrs
- Insanity Workouts – 6 hrs
That’s it! If I have 16 hours a day (7am-11pm) or 112 available weekly hours and I’m only being productive with half of those hours, why am I struggling to find 5-10 hours to devote to my blog? In the earlier stages of blogging, I was putting in far more than that.
1. Go To Goodwill – getting rid of the clutter in my life is not only cleansing – it’s a tax write-off!
2. Back Up My Computer Files – we are all vulnerable to losing these valuables at any point in time.
3. Form LLC – separating myself from my business will be a necessary move as I continue to grow.
