Yesterday I officially joined the Yakezie Challenge and couldn’t be more excited about it. The Yakezie network is a community of personal finance and lifestyle bloggers who “selflessly help others” reach their respective goals. Yakezie Challenges each blog to improve it’s Alexa Ranking. For those who aren’t familiar with this webby lingo, Alexa is a web information company which tracks web traffic. Some argue that it isn’t completely accurate because it only logs visits by people who have the Alexa Toolbar installed on their computer. While this is somewhat true, you can also argue the accuracy by glancing at Alexa’s top visited websites: Google, Facebook, Youtube, and Yahoo.
My goal will be to bring my Alexa ranking below 200,000 in the next 6 months (currently @ 1.7million). If you would like to help me in this journey, be sure to download the Alexa Toolbar here: www.alexa.com
I will be updating everyone on my progress sporadically (I embarrassingly learned this word while watching Clueless). If you’re interested in joining the Challenge along with me, visit: www.yakezie.com
Thanks and keep reading!
