It’s been two weeks since I’ve written a blog post and I’m getting antsy. It’s bad that the two weeks have felt like forever, but I suppose I could have worse addictions. Blogging about personal finance shouldn’t hurt my health too badly.
Where Have I Been?
Odds are you probably haven’t even noticed that I’ve been gone; but that doesn’t mean I can’t tell you where I’ve been and why I haven’t been blogging.
Miss Blinkin and I went to the beach in South Carolina with my family. I was going to use this time away from work to focus on blogging but instead went a different route. I didn’t check the cell phone or laptop the entire vacation and chose to focus my attention on my family. The feeling of being “unwired” was different, but much needed.
The day we returned from the beach Miss Blinkin and I closed on our house. With the help of Miss Washington (future Mother-in-law), we were able to get a lot accomplished. I plan to post a few pictures of the house; primarily because I want to show everyone how much house one can buy in North Carolina.
Miss Blinkin and I are heading back to the beach (different beach) next weekend (this time with her family). I expect to continue blogging during this time and “wowing” you with new articles.
Where Have You Been?
It seems that the rest of the world doesn’t stop just because I do. Thank you to everyone that continues to highlight Funancials.
